Artist Submission Policy & Guidelines
The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville is a cultural resource of the University of North Florida. It is one of the Southeast’s largest contemporary art institutions, dedicated to presenting innovative exhibitions by the finest international, national and regional artists. The museum’s exhibition programming is determined solely by the curatorial staff and not by unsolicited submissions.
MOCA Jacksonville welcomes submissions from artists for review, but asks that prior to submitting your work, you consider our mission and programming in order to determine whether your submission is appropriate to the mission of our museum. Naturally, the best way to do this would be to visit the museum and tour our changing exhibitions and permanent collection. If this is not possible, please explore our website and browse our current and past exhibitions.
MOCA Jacksonville reviews artist materials on a periodic basis and for informational purposes only. Due to the large volume of materials we receive we cannot return submitted materials. Please note that we do not accept original works of art or models, nor can we be responsible for any of these materials that are sent to us. Should the curatorial staff determine that the submission is appropriate to our program we will contact you.
Submissions may be made in either digital or hard copy form in the formats suggested below. Regardless of format, no more than 10 images should be submitted. Works submitted must have been completed in the last 3 years.
Due to the large volume, submissions that are not in the correct format may not be reviewed. Web addresses are not considered submissions.
