Free Art Walk: October

Wednesday, October 1 • 5-9 p.m.

Free and open to the public

• See two artists working live at the Museum. UNF professor Jason John, one of the featured artists in Get Real: New American Painting, paints in a third-floor studio. Erica Mendoza, the UNF student-in-residence, will be working on her sculptures on the fifth floor.

• Explore the Featured Exhibition Get Real: New American Painting.

• Make your own work of art at ArtFusion.

• Experience Project Atrium: Caroline Lathan-Stiefel.

• View highlights from the Museum’s Permanent Collection.

• Check out Juxtaposition: Works by Larry Wilson & Laurie Hitzig in the UNF Gallery.

• The Museum Store will be open with art, jewelry, books, and more.

• Enjoy a special Art Walk menu and drink specials at Café Nola.

First Wednesday Art Walk is an ever-changing free event that features more than forty downtown venues which display works by a wide variety of visual artists. MOCA Jacksonville, an Art Walk anchor site, hosts special guests and always a surprise or two.
