World Arts Film Festival

The World Arts Film Festival, presented by the 501©3 non-profit organization, World Arts Education, highlights the creativity of a new generation of filmmakers inviting both established masters and first-time directors.

A part of WAE’s global educational outreach, the festival will bring diverse groups of filmmakers of all ages and backgrounds, including those with special needs, to meet and mentor each other and their audiences through this new venue.

Key Details
  • The festival will screen over 100 short films throughout the three days. The films range from 30 sec to 20 min and screening times are approximate – come early and stay a while!
  • The festival consists of films in the theater, panel discussions, and art and film making activities throughout the day.
  • There will also be Museum docents available to talk to visitors about our upcoming Featured Exhibition, Inside/Out: MOCA’s Permanent Collection, our Rainbow Artists: Art and Autism across the Spectrum exhibition, and Project Atrium: Sarah Emerson.
  • We respectfully request that participants purchase their tickets online before arriving. However should you need to purchase tickets on the day, the Festival will be able to process your payments via their online system the check in table.
