MOCA Art Council (MAC)

The MOCA Art Council (MAC) is a volunteer group formed in 2002 under the leadership of Susie Arbizzani Miller, Jozette Campbell and Julie McKenny. Its purpose is two-fold: to raise awareness of the MOCA Jacksonville, and to create, organize and produce major fundraising events to support the educational programs and exhibitions of the Museum. MAC successes include the ”Spectacular Vernacular” Gala 2004 which raised $160,000 for the Museum, “Pillars of JMOMA” in November 2005 which raised $75,000, and “Water in Motion” Gala 2006 which raised almost $180,000.

Under the current leadership of President Linda Larkin Smith, MAC looks forward to expanding its membership and providing ever more exciting events to raise funds and awareness for the Museum.
